All tutors at Wisdom On Demand Tutors are university students, part-time school teachers and experienced tutors and teachers who have achieved high levels of education in the area(s) which they provide tutorials in. All tutors must pass an interview process to be hired as a tutor of Wisdom On Demand Tutors, including proving documentation that proves a strong knowledge base of the subject(s) they provide tutorials in.

Our platform includes tools that makes One-on-One online tutoring just as effective as face-to-face tutoring, with the added benefits of convenience, flexibility of session times, and a safe, relaxed environment for the student. Our experience has shown that most of the students who have formerly used face-to-face tutoring find online tutoring to be at least equally as effective and enjoy the added benefits that come with this form of tutoring.

The only equipment necessary for our online tutoring service is a computer and Internet access with a stable connection.

Wisdom On Demand Tutors provides help in all school subjects from grade 3 to grade 12, as well as most of the major subjects at university level. Should the subject you require assistance with not be listed for your education level or language, please let us know at admin@wisdomondemand.co.za and we will make it our priority to get you a tutor that meets your needs.

Wisdom On Demand Tutors makes it a priority that our tutors are optimally equipped to effectively help each student. Students are encouraged to use our upload/download or screen share functionality built into our platform to provide the tutor with any additional material they feel is necessary to make each session effective.

Wisdom On Demand Tutors accepts credit card and EFT payments prior to lessons. In terms of EFT payments, we will credit your account with the number of lessons purchased once we receive proof of payment. Please contact us on admin@wisdomondemand.co.za for our banking details.

To book a lesson, log into your account and make sure your profile is up to date so we can allocate you a tutor that best meet your needs.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to “Book your lessons”.
  2. Choose whether you want your lesson now, later today or later this week.
  3. Choose your date and preferred time for your lesson.
  4. Once a tutor accepts the lesson you will be notified, and after you pay for the lesson you will see your upcoming lessons on the “Bookings” page.

We offer 30-minute (Quick Dive), 60-minute (Normal Dive) and 90-minute (Deep Dive) sessions.

Yes. When you book your next lesson, you can choose if you want the same tutor as before, or any available tutor. Please note that if you request a specific tutor, his/her availability is limited and you may receive a delayed response. Discuss your tutor’s availability at the end of your first lesson to ensure he/she is available for your next request.

Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge are recommended for the best experience when attending a lesson on our innovative platform. Our video platform does not accommodate older browsers like Internet Explorer.
